This page covers watchhaus.tv, WatchHAUS accounts and the WatchHAUS apps. The short version: we keep what's needed to sign you in and to tell waitlist members once when WatchHAUS is ready. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store:

• Your email address.
• When you joined, the country your request came from, your browser's user agent string, and the page that linked you here, if any. This tells us roughly where interest comes from.

If you only visit the site, we store nothing about you. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in, and only once you sign in.

If you create an account

• Your name, email address and profile picture, from the sign-in method you use (Apple, Google or GitHub), or the email address you give us.
• How you sign in: which providers are linked, and your passkeys' public keys (the private half never leaves your device). If you set a password, only a secure hash of it.
• Where you're signed in: for each session, when it started, its IP address and your browser or app's user agent, so you can see and end sessions from your account page.

We use this only to sign you in, keep your account secure and run WatchHAUS for you. If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only see Apple's relay address.

How we use the waitlist

We use your email address to send you one email when WatchHAUS is ready. We don't sell it, share it, add it to marketing lists, or use it for anything else. Once that email has gone out, we delete the waitlist.

Visit statistics

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites or build a profile of you. We see only totals, such as page views and which countries they came from.

Who handles the data

The site, accounts and the waitlist run on Cloudflare, which processes requests (including your IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. When you sign in with Apple, Google or GitHub, that provider confirms who you are under its own privacy policy. Nobody else receives the data.

Your choices

You can delete your account yourself from your account page; that removes everything tied to it. To see what we have, fix it, or have waitlist data deleted, email hello@watchhaus.tv from the address you signed up with. We'll reply within 30 days.

Children

WatchHAUS isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. We won't use data you already gave us in a new way without asking you first.
